Guests typically check in after 2:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM. In most cases, we allow early check-in and late check-out if the room or property is available.
For the comfort of all guests, smoking is not permitted inside any of the indoor areas at Mari Mari. Smoking is allowed on outdoor terraces and balconies unless otherwise indicated.
To respect Mari Mari's unique ecosystem and local wildlife, pets are not allowed on the property, with the exception of service dogs.
The weather is generally mild, with more rainfall during winter and frequent low clouds. The overall climate in this part of Patagonia is best described as variable year-round. It’s not uncommon to experience all four seasons in a single day! Summer temperatures typically hover around 20°C (68°F), while in winter, the average is 13°C (55°F). The average annual rainfall is 302 cm (119 inches).
We recommend comfortable shoes, casual clothing, and a swimsuit. Outdoor activity gear and hiking boots are essential. We suggest bringing a few layers of light clothing. Sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen/lip balm, and of course, a camera are also recommended. If you forget something, our well-stocked Patagonia Store in the Club House offers a range of clothing and accessories for purchase. If you'd rather travel light, send us a note with the items you need (preferred colors, sizes, etc.), and they will be ready for you upon arrival.
In Patagonia, there are insects, particularly the horsefly, which is the local version of the March fly. It is present for about three weeks between December and January, depending on the rains. Local experts recommend wearing light-colored clothing instead of dark colors, which tend to attract these insects. It's also a good idea to bring regular insect repellent.
